My approach—no matter what I’m doing—is to work hard and find creative and inventive ways to bring interesting people, subjects, and ideas to the forefront of the media.
As a producer, I acknowledge the power my position affords to build teams with intention. I’m particularly proud of my recent work with NYLON in which we assembled predominantly female crews and amplified progressive voices and stories that belong in mainstream media. I am committed to continuing these kinds of collaborations with diverse, driven people.
Over the past ten years I have balanced many entrepreneurial pursuits while working for advertising agencies, technology startups, nonprofits, production houses, and publishers. I’ve operated in-house, on the agency side, and as a member of the media. This has afforded me unique opportunities to work on projects and initiatives with a broad scope of demands.
I majored in Broadcast Journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University and graduated in 2011. After school, I moved to Chicago, then went onto New York, and now live Raleigh, North Carolina. Throughout my journeys, I have gained diverse experience in the worlds of production, publishing, public relations, content marketing, and advertising.
